AEW&C Subject Matter Expert
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an experienced professional to support local and international E-7 AEW&C programs.
This role will utilise mission systems operator experience to liaise with customer defence force mission operators and engineering personnel for the development and update of operations manuals and checklists.
Responsibilities include reviewing and assigning critical and routine technical publication revision tasks, communicating clear instructions for incorporation of technical publication tasks, and working closely with AEW&C coordinators and execution leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Required qualifications include experience in mission operations, authoring technical publications, and specialist operator knowledge of military systems. Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
The successful candidate will join Boeing Defence Australia, shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise mission systems operator experience to liaise with customer defence force mission operators and engineering personnel for the development and update of operations manuals and checklists
* Review and assign critical and routine technical publication revision tasks for AEW&C customers
* Communicate clear instructions for incorporation of technical publication tasks to ensure cost, schedule and quality targets are met
* Work closely with AEW&C coordinators and execution leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks to achieve project revision deliveries
Key Qualifications:
* Experience in mission operations for ground based or airborne AEW&C aircraft or equivalent platforms
* Ability to evaluate technical source data and specifications
* Experience in authoring technical publications
* Ability to communicate with operations personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate information and issues impacting the operations, employment and management of mission systems
* Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance
* Specialist operator knowledge of military systems
