Broome Plumbing & Gas is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse & Delivery Assistant to join our team. This is a varied, hands‐on role supporting our warehouse operations, delivery services, and LPG gas supply.
The position suits someone who enjoys a mix of physical work, customer interaction, and working both indoors and outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
* Receive and check incoming stock and materials
* Unpack, label and store inventory in the correct locations
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe showroom/warehouse environment
* Assist with stock control and inventory management
Deliveries & Logistics
* Assist the delivery driver with domestic and commercial deliveries
* Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
* Ensure deliveries are accurate and completed in a timely manner
Gas Services
* Take customer LPG orders (in person and over the phone)
* Assist with LPG bottle handling and refills
* Provide friendly and professional customer service to gas customers
Asset & Fleet Management
* Assist with the management of company assets, including tools, equipment and vehicle fleet
* Monitor service schedules and coordinate servicing and maintenance when required
* Ensure vehicles and equipment remain organised, maintained and operational
General Duties
* Support the warehouse and operations team as required
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
* Assist with other operational tasks as the business requires
