Join a high-performing Professional Services team delivering modern Data & AI solutions across enterprise customers nationwide. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in implementing secure, scalable Azure and Microsoft Fabric platforms, working alongside experienced architects and project managers to turn design into high-quality delivery.
This is a hands-on role within a collaborative national practice, offering exposure to complex, large-scale customer environments and emerging AI capabilities.
In this role you will:
* Deliver end-to-end implementation of Azure and Microsoft Fabric data platforms, aligned to agreed designs, timelines and budgets
* Build and configure data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, analytics workspaces and AI-enabled services
* Translate high-level and low-level designs into robust, production-ready technical solutions
* Embed security, governance, lineage and data quality controls into all deployments
* Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation including design artefacts, change records and environment documentation
* Act as an escalation point for technical challenges and contribute to risk assessment and solution optimisation
* Engage directly with customers, providing clear communication on progress, outcomes and technical recommendations
About You:
* Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical solutions within enterprise or consulting environments
* Hands-on expertise across Azure data services and/or Microsoft Fabric, including pipelines, lakehouse or medallion architectures
* Experience implementing governance, security and compliance controls within enterprise environments
* Exposure to Azure AI services or applied AI patterns such as search, embeddings or RAG is highly regarded
* Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to varied stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining delivery quality
* Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. DP-900, DP-600, DP-700 or Azure certifications) or willingness to obtain
