About The Role
Are you a senior nurse currently working at Grampians Health? Looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team? We have the perfect opportunity for you

* Play a crucial role in managing patient flow within the Acute site and between Grampians Health campuses
* Training and ongoing support provided
* A chance to expand your skills and experience in this supportive and collaborative environment
* Rotating Rosters - Monday-Sunday with varying shift lengths

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with all after hours clinical teams to coordinate an effective centralised bed management system
* Oversee the operations of the Stawell Campus to ensure optimal patient access and flow
* Maintain knowledge and understanding of all points of access into the campus, across Grampians Health and the Grampians region
* Ensure referrals from other health services are triaged and prioritised for admission and a timely safe transfer plan is implemented
* Keep team members focused when under pressure through role modelling a calm approach, adopting a positive outlook and offering support where necessary

Skills & Experience

* Registered Nurse or Midwife with experience in an acute hospital setting
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Relevant post graduate qualifications, management experience desirable
