Their head office is based at Greenwich however you will have the opportunity to WFH 3 day per week.
**The Position**
You will be a welcomed member of this highly stable Payroll and HR team where your primary focus initially will be to assist in the implement their new payroll system. You will be focused on ensuring the payroll function is operating effectively and at a high standard.
- Leading the Payroll function to ensure completion of the Fortnightly Payroll for 1200 staff
- Continuous leadership, training, and development of 3 Payroll staff
- Lead and drive continuous improvements and efficiencies across Payroll function
- Support the wider business with Payroll reporting
- Ensure Payroll compliance with relevant awards and EBAs
- Month and year end reporting and reconciliation
- Prepare payments and control the reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax, superannuation payments and authorised payroll deductions
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and processing of redundancy and termination payment estimates.
- Communicate effectively with managers on any non-compliance related to payroll processes and escalate as necessary.
To be the successful applicant you will be a highly experienced Payroll Supervisor or Manager who has a demonstrated experience leading a high performing payroll team.
- You will be a strong communicator and have exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience in system implantation and process improvement
- Experience or understanding of a rostering system
- Hands on approach along with a strong work ethic
- Have initiative and can think outside the box
- Strong payroll system skills along with Excel
