About the Role
Our team supports the Data and AI division within the Corporate Operations Group globally, managing their risk profile through refinement and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework.
We work closely with global Data and AI teams and the wider internal risk ecosystem, acting as trusted advisors to drive improvements and deliver efficiencies in line with our Operational Risk Management Frameworks and policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage operational risk outcomes, drive improvements, and deliver efficiencies in line with our Operational Risk Management Frameworks and policies.
* Support the Data and AI teams and the extended ecosystem of Records and Data Officers across Macquarie in uplifting risk culture, conducting monthly risk reporting and facilitating regular Risk and Controls Self-Assessments.
* Initiate and lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging issues in relation to design and embedment of Data and AI Risk Frameworks.
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in operational risk management, ideally within financial services or technology environments, would be advantageous.
* Strong understanding of risk frameworks, policies, and reporting processes.
* Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across diverse teams and regions.
* Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
* Proven analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
