About the role
Ballarat Solar Company is seeking a motivated and experienced Solar Sales Consultant to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for promoting our high-quality solar energy solutions to both residential and commercial customers in the Ballarat and surrounding areas. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving the company's growth and expansion.
What you'll be doing
* Generating new sales leads through prospecting, networking, and referrals
* Conducting on-site assessments and providing customised solar energy solutions to customers
* Preparing detailed proposals and quotations for solar installations
* Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals
* Providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
* Staying up-to-date with the latest solar technology, industry regulations, and market trends
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry (Would be an advantage but not essential for the right person)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate customers
* Technical knowledge or understanding of solar energy systems and their installation (Would be an advantage but not essential for the right person)
* Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
* Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability
* Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
