This role provides first-line technical support across our sites, helping troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintaining our infrastructure, and ensuring our users receive timely and effective assistance. What you’ll do
- Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets to meet agreed SLAs.
- Provide first-level contact and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Deliver clear, customer-focused communication to ensure user expectations are met.
- Perform root-cause analysis and support permanent corrective actions.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, RF scanners, printers, and factory-based systems.
- Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software; ensure optimal workstation performance.
- Assist with LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, routing/switching, and network configuration support.
- Perform routine system monitoring and verify integrity of server and network resources.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, servicing, and warranty claims.
Infrastructure & Site Support
- Act as a key point of contact for onsite infrastructure needs and small projects.
- Support network changes (switch/router/Wi‑Fi) with the Infrastructure Team Lead.
- Raise purchase orders and manage IT asset procurement for the site.
- Travel between sites for planned and ad‑hoc support requirements.
IT Asset & Hardware Management
- Build and configure new hardware aligned with Kinrise standards.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, lifecycle documentation, and compliance records.
- Utilize Azure and Office 365 toolsets to manage devices and user access.
- Maintain efficient store areas and ensure timely availability of IT equipment.
Factory & Operational Technology Support
- Support factory‑floor systems in line with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure reliable printer availability for SSCC labels and general printing.
- Work closely with Engineering to maintain networking needs for automation and PLC‑based systems.
What you’ll bring
- Solid understanding of computer systems, hardware/software troubleshooting, and networking.
- Experience as an IT Support Analyst, Desktop Support Technician, or similar role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, network configuration, and service desk operations.
- Experience with SAP, Azure, Meraki, Extreme Networks, Cisco, VeloCloud, or Zscaler is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- A motivated, proactive approach with a genuine focus on customer service and teamwork.
