About the Company Our client is in the healthcare sector. About the Role Reporting into the COO, you will be overseeing facilities and building management across the organisation's buildings and sub-leases. You will be experienced in managing multiple properties at one time, liaising with vendors and contractors, and ensuring consistent communication with the building managers. You will be a result-driven self-starter, and trusted to independently oversee the management of the organisation's properties. This is a permanent opportunity, based fully on site in South Melbourne. Duties As the Facilities Manager, your duties will include: Overseeing the end-to-end coordination and management of the organisation's property portfolio. Continuously maintaining and improving all of the organisation's properties. Managing leases for sub-tenants and negotiating new leases when required. Analysing property management budgets, looking for cost-cutting measures where necessary. Maintaining positive working relationships with contractors and vendors, including cleaning staff, air conditioning servicers etc. Reviewing quotes for contractors, negotiating when required. Assisting with fit-outs and renovations. Working cooperatively with landlords and tenants. Skills & Experience To be a successful candidate, you will ideally have: Minimum two years of experience working in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
