The Opportunity
This is not a technical delivery or scrum-lead role. Instead, you will bring pragmatic business-side leadership, translating HR intent into executable outcomes across process, operating model, governance, and adoption.
You'll partner closely with the business Project Manager and governance lead, helping define:
* What "good" looks like for a core HR system and related platforms (e.g., performance)
* Realistic sequencing, timing, and adoption expectations
* Process ownership, data stewardship, and operating-model decisions
* Where to integrate existing processes vs redesign for the future state
This is a highly influence-driven position, working in an environment of ambiguity, competing priorities, and varying levels of delivery maturity - requiring strong judgement, structure, and stakeholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the business-side HR domain lead within a complex enterprise HRIS program
* Partner with senior stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, and governance structures
* Help the organisation define future-state HR processes, ownership, and delivery expectations
* Nevigate critical questions around data stewardship and fragmented process accountability
* Translate HR culture, constraints, and intent into practical delivery pathways
* Support program governance by shaping the insights and delivery signals elevated to leadership
* Work alongside Business Analysts where deep process mapping or specialist capability is required
* Bring clarity and delivery momentum without over-engineering
About You
You've likely supported or led HRIS transformations before and understand what it takes to deliver enterprise platforms successfully in complex organisations.
You bring:
* Strong people-domain knowledge (ideally coming from a traditional HR background)
* Confidence influencing senior stakeholders in ambiguity-heavy environments
* A pragmatic, delivery-minded approach that balances structure with realism
* Experience with enterprise HR platforms such as PageUp, TechnologyOne, or similar
* The ability to get "sticky" with systems quickly and understand downstream impacts
* Strong judgement around prioritisation, governance, and change readiness
