About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems & AI Solutions Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of our tourism technology ecosystem.
This role is critical in bridging business requirements with technical delivery, ensuring seamless integration across booking platforms, digital ticketing systems, and internal data environments.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external developers, and global distribution partners to deliver scalable and commercially effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for development teams
* Lead the integration and optimisation of tourism booking and ticketing platforms
* Configure and manage API integrations across internal systems and third-party platforms
* Oversee implementation of digital ticketing, voucher, and redemption systems
* Develop AI-driven workflows to improve customer experience, automation, and data insights
* Work with OTA and travel trade distribution systems to expand product reach
* Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability across multiple regions
* Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and continuous system improvements
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance digital customer journeys
* Maintain documentation of system architecture, processes, and integrations
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role (e.g. Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Technology Specialist)
* Demonstrated experience working with travel booking and ticketing platforms, including:
o Ventrata
o FareHarbor
o Galaxy
o Palisis
o VGS Ticketing
* Experience integrating systems via APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions
* Strong understanding of OTA distribution channels (e.g. Viator, GetYourGuide, Klook)
* Experience working with digital voucher/ticketing systems and redemption workflows
* Familiarity with AI tools and automation in a business or product environment
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
2. Experience in the tourism, travel, or hospitality technology sector
