Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to optimize our painting and coating operations. This role involves improving processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial engineering within manufacturing or coating environments and a strong understanding of lean principles.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and improve painting and coating workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce waste. Develop and implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Design layouts for workstations and equipment to optimize productivity and safety. Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure timely delivery of projects. Monitor and maintain compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols. Conduct time studies and cost analysis to support pricing and resource planning. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and materials for coating processes. Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials for staff.
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. 3+ years of experience in process engineering Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with safety and environmental standards in industrial settings.
