Role Description
This is a full-time Psychologist role based on-site/ remote and Podiatrist in Wollongong, NSW. The Psychologist will support mental health and well‑being by providing psychological assessments, counseling, and therapy to clients. The role includes developing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and addressing a variety of mental health challenges to enhance the quality of life for individuals under care.
Qualifications: Psychologist
* Strong foundation in Psychology and Psychological Assessment
* Proficiency in Counseling and Mental Health care
* Understanding of Medicine and its application in mental health
* Ability to work collaboratively with a multi‑disciplinary health care team
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
* Relevant certifications or licensure to practice as a psychologist in Australia
Qualifications: Podiatrist
1. Experience working in aged care or with individuals with diverse care needs is advantageous
2. Providing routine and complex foot care
3. Managing chronic conditions affecting the lower limbs
4. Implementing prevention and rehabilitation strategies
5. Educating clients, families, and care teams on foot health
6. Documenting clinical findings and maintaining accurate records
7. Travelling to conduct home visits and facility‑based care
