* Armidale/Sydney/Tamworth/Taree. Flexible or hybrid work arrangements available
* $ 110,591 to $ 128,345 per annum (HEO8)
* Plus 17% employer superannuation
* Salary packaging options are available
* 20 days family and domestic violence leave available per annum
* 20 days gender affirmation leave per annum
* 10 days Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and ceremonial leave per annum
* 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum

About the role

The Advancement Business Partner provides high-level operational expertise and systems management for the Advancement, Alumni and Events unit. This role has significant responsibility for donor fund management, including processing and auditing of donations, and provides strategic recommendations to the UNE Foundation and UNE Senior Executive regarding fund allocation. The position is responsible for optimizing operational efficiency through systems administration, business process improvement, strategic financial oversight and stakeholder engagement across university units.

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate event management expertise, coordinating resources, managing timelines and budgets across multiple locations while understanding protocols for senior executives. They will have strategic communication skills enabling effective event activations aligned with university initiatives. Strong stakeholder management capabilities are essential, including representing the organisation and building relationships with diverse stakeholders. This role will lead teams across different locations, guiding a high-performance culture committed to service excellence and their strategic thinking will develop event strategies enhancing UNE's brand, implementing innovative approaches and identifying improvement opportunities. With organisational awareness of university environments and academic protocols, the successful candidate will maintain knowledge of standards and policies while delivering high-quality events that enhance UNE's reputation.

About the Faculty/Group

The Future Students and Engagement team integrates Student Liaison, Future Students team, Marketing, Growth, Corporate Communications, Advancement, Alumni and Events into a seamless operation which oversees the prospective student journey from awareness through to enrolment and continues along the Alumna journey. The operations, activities and engagements are managed in a coordinated way so that efficiencies and scale can be brought to every UNE touchpoint
