**The Company**:
This global association is looking to increase strategic development in Australia and Asia, and thus are looking for an APAC Event Manager to work closely with local stakeholders to develop and deliver a new strategy for the APAC Region. This association's head office is located in London, and its goal is to connect and promote the collective interests of our public & private sector members, including the industry's leading investors, lenders, advisors, developers, sponsors and government institutions.
**The Role**:
The APAC Event Manager will report to the Head of Operations who is located in London. The APAC Event Manager will work closely with local stakeholders to develop and deliver a new strategy for the region that aims to grow the membership, improve engagement with members, offer an updated and expanded range of services, align our activities with industry and develop the next generation of industry leaders. The role will build a pipeline of events that will develop into a yearly calendar of events for the region.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Work with the Australia & Asia Branch Councils to build and deliver on an annual plan including assistance in building member engagement, delivering events, developing our virtual content, and increasing brand awareness, and membership.
- Produce activities and events from initial concept to finished product, working on multiple sessions simultaneously. Liaise with member hosts to develop the topic, format, speaker invites, logistics, registrations and overall smooth running of the session.
- Work with the Membership team to grow membership in the region
- Establish mutually beneficial long-term relationships with existing and potential members
- Increase brand awareness and recognition through the development of regional partnerships
- Travel to and represent the organisation, at events nationally and internationally, where appropriate
- Strong networking ability, able to establish, maintain and leverage a network of contacts
- The ability to develop and manage relationships both internally and externally at all levels
- Ability to respond efficiently and effectively to queries and requests from team members, managers and clients
- Maintains a high level of accuracy when working under pressure and to tight timescales
- Proactive, creative and imaginative problem-solver
