About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a growing team in Melbourne. This role involves providing clinic-based and community-based therapy services, primarily supporting elderly and aged care clients under the NDIS.
You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, developing tailored therapy plans, and working closely with clients and their families to support independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and goals
* Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment plans
* Deliver therapy services in clinic and community settings
* Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as required
* Educate clients and families on therapy strategies and techniques
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
* Provide ongoing support and encouragement throughout the therapy journey
Essential Criteria
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
* Current AHPRA registration
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
* Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid Australian driver's licence
