About the Role
As part of the Milling team at Pinjarra Refinery, Production Supervisors play a key role in driving successful work execution and fostering strong people engagement. The role operates on a 12‐hour day/night shift roster and requires the supervisor to coach and mentor a dedicated crew, uphold high standards of process and production practices, guide the team towards challenging goals, implement business system improvements, support team members with suggestion scheme ideas, and audit standardised work practices.
Responsibilities
* Coaching and mentoring crew members to reach their full potential.
* Developing and upholding very high standards of process and production practices.
* Guiding the team to achieve its challenging goals in all areas of the business.
* Implementing and sustaining business system improvements.
* Assisting team members to implement suggestion scheme ideas.
* Auditing standardised work practices.
* Providing help and guidance to the team by applying problem‐solving skills for production and interpersonal issues.

What You can Bring to the Role
* A strong processing background; experience in an alumina/refining processing plant or mining/industrial environment is advantageous.
* A strong and dedicated commitment to safety, health and the environment.
* Validated use of initiative and self‐motivation to excel with minimal supervision.
* Highly developed team leadership and communication skills.
* Experience in implementing and leading change initiatives.
* Commitment to meet challenges and work with a diverse group to develop and implement strategies across workgroups.
Requirement to have Schedule 26 – Statutory Supervisor accreditation.
Location
Pinjarra Refinery is located within the Shire of Murray in the Peel region of WA, just east of the Pinjarra town site. The refinery produces approximately 4.7 million metric tons of alumina each year and offers an inclusive and respectful environment that embraces change and equal opportunity.
