Academic Position in Biomechanics and Education
We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Academic in Biomechanics and Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service activities.
Job Description:
The position involves contributing to the development of biomedical engineering education through excellent teaching in health technology innovation, biomechanics, and biomechanical design. The incumbent will also establish a research program in multidisciplinary experimental biomechanics and biomechanical simulation. They will work closely with the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW to support health technology innovation and address unmet clinical needs.

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this role, you must have a PhD in biomechanical engineering or a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience. You should also have a demonstrated track record of developing innovative multidisciplinary approaches to solving clinically important unmet needs using biomechanics, biomechanical design, and/or biomechanical simulation techniques. Additionally, you should have a proven commitment to proactively keeping up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments.
