Job Description
* Permanent, Full Time
We are seeking a dedicated Student Services Officer. In this customer-facing role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the overall student experience by providing efficient and professional support throughout their academic journey.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries, addressing concerns and providing accurate information with a friendly and supportive demeanor.
* Manage student records meticulously, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
* Collaborate closely with academic and administrative teams to streamline processes such as enrolment, orientation, and graduation, ensuring a seamless experience for students.
* Assist students with navigating university systems, procedures, and resources, offering guidance and support as needed.
* Maintain a detailed understanding of academic policies, regulations, and best practices to provide well-informed advice and solutions.
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by analyzing feedback, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing efficient processes.
* Perform administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, adhering to established deadlines and procedures.
Qualifications
* Background in administration or student services, ideally in education.
* Skilled in student systems (e.g. RTO Manager, CRM) and Microsoft Office.
* Strong organiser able to juggle competing deadlines.
* Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
* High attention to detail with sound understanding of compliance and record-keeping.
* Collaborative team player who engages well with stakeholders.
* Handles sensitive information with discretion.
* Working knowledge of education policies, regulations, and best practice.
* Effective problem-solver for student queries and issues.
* Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced education environment.
* Familiarity with Australian education frameworks (TEQSA, ASQA) is desirable but not required.
