We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper that will collaborate directly with clients. You will have a strong client-centric approach and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across a large and varied portfolio of clients.
The Role
The role will involve direct interaction with clients, including but not limited to:
* Ongoing day to day bookkeeping for existing clients
* Payroll processing and reconciliation including superannuation and RTWSA
* Completion of bank reconciliations and BAS / IAS statements
* Reporting requirements based on individual client needs
* Managing creditors and debtor invoicing
* Assisting with client queries
* Processing end-of-period journal entries
* Training clients on new systems and processes including addons to utilise software
* Setting up new accounting files, including integration of data from other platforms
About You
Previous experience providing bookkeeping services to multiple clients
Sound knowledge of a wide range of accounting software programs including MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks
Xero advisor and MYOB-certified
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines
Excellent people skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Remuneration to be negotiated with the successful applicant based upon qualifications and experience.
