Join the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW afbeeld for a teaching and research role. In this role you will develop your own research in Electrical Engineering, teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes in Systems and Control, supervise HDR students, and publish high‐quality research as part of a team and/or independently.
This position is based in Australia.
Salary and Classification
* Salary
o Lecturer (Level B) – AUD $127,947 to $150,830 per annum + 17% superannuation
o Senior Lecturer (Level C) – AUD $155,403 to $178,290 per annum + 17% superannuation
* Full time
* Fixed term – 2‐year convertible tenure track (potential for transition to a continuing appointment, subject to performance)
* Location: Kensington – Sydney, Australia

Lecturer (Level B)
* A PhD in Electrical Engineering specialising in Systems and Control, along with relevant work experience.
* Proven commitment to keep up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
* Demonstrated experience and evidence in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels in.orange Systems and Control, as well as across the broad field of Electrical Engineering.
* Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
* Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
* Demonstrated knowledge of industry or experience of work‐integrated learning (desirable).
* Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
