Glass Expansion is an established Science & Technology company specialising in the design and manufacture of parts and accessories for analytical equipment.
We are seeking a Process Engineer who is mechanically minded, hands-on, and motivated by problem-solving. In this role, you will work closely with the production team to optimise manufacturing processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, plan and support machine maintenance, and drive improvements that enhance efficiency and overall equipment performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimise manufacturing processes and workflows to support efficient and reliable operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to resolve equipment or process-related problems.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Plan and support machine maintenance to improve performance and minimise downtime.
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand current processes, machines, and equipment.
- Apply industry best practices to enhance equipment reliability and overall process performance.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in process engineering
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows
- A hands-on and proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
