We are currently accepting applications for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join the Perioperative Services team based in Daylesford on a permanent part-time basis.

Role Statement:

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an integral member of the management team, working with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to ensure the efficient operation of the clinical environment. The ANUM is responsible for delivering quality care within the Perioperative Unit, managing nursing and related resources, setting clinical standards to achieve high-quality nursing care, and fostering a learning environment for staff development.

The ANUM role involves coordinating the provision of safe, quality care in Perioperative Services at Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH). The ANUM must demonstrate sound clinical and time management skills and work collaboratively as part of a team. Responsibilities include staff and resource coordination to ensure person-centred, safe care, and managing the unit in the absence of the NUM.

About CHRH:

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia. Formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on 30 November 2019, each campus retains its township name: Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.
