About the Role
We've experienced significant growth and are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager based in Sydney to join our dynamic team.
As a BDM/Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in driving our company's growth by generating new business opportunities in NSW, building strong client relationships, and exceeding sales targets. The successful candidate will lead sales growth in NSW and work closely with the Managing Director and sales team.
Responsibilities
* Business Development :
* Identify and target potential clients within the specified market segments.
* Conduct thorough research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
* Develop and execute effective strategies to generate new leads and opportunities.
* Create compelling sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to expand the client base.
* Client Relationship Management :
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
* Understanding clients' business challenges and providing customised solutions.
* Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new projects and contracts.
* Proactively offering additional services and upselling opportunities.
* Sales and Revenue Generation :
* Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
* Track sales activities, and maintain detailed records in CRM systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
* Sales Support and Reporting :
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive pricing proposals and contracts.
* Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
* Utilise CRM systems to manage leads, opportunities, and sales pipelines efficiently.
* Share insights with the sales team, contributing to the overall growth of the organisation.
About you
* Preferred bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
* At least 3 years in business development or in a similar sales role
* Preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
* Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and generating new business opportunities.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Solid understanding of business development principles and sales strategies.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
* Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
