We are seeking a reliable and motivated Farm Hand to join our sheep farming operation in Redesdale, Victoria. H.M Barty & Sons is a well-regarded merino stud farm, running a self-replacing merino operation with a focus on superfine wool production.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build skills in agriculture, with full training provided. We're looking for someone who is willing to learn, takes pride in their work, and can operate with increasing independence over time. You'll be working in a small team alongside an experienced farm manager and contract labour.

Key duties & responsibilities:
* Sheep handling and animal husbandry
* Feeding out
* Moving stock
* Fencing, maintenance, and property upkeep
* Assisting with seasonal farm operations
* Machinery operation
About you:
* Passionate about working with livestock – particularly sheep
* Physically capable
* Enjoys working outdoors all year round
* Reliable and hardworking
* Willing to learn and take initiative
* Ability to work independently once trained
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Hold a current Australian car licence
Working dogs are encouraged and welcome. Chemical Users Certificate and medium rigid truck license would be an advantage but not essential.
You MUST be an Australian Resident (Visa holders need not apply) and hold an Australian Drivers License.
