Base pay range A$29.00/hr - A$29.00/hr
Your Role Take on a creative role where you'll be the Army Reserve's Imagery Specialist; capturing and delivering a wide variety of communication material.
What You'll Do: Take professional quality photos and videos of Australian Defence Force operations, training exercises, international engagement and other activities Process and upload your imagery so it can be supplied to meet civilian news media deadlines Edit together short and engaging videos for social media platforms Provide Australian Defence Force members and military personnel from other countries with photography and videography training Provide advice to Public Affairs Officers and commanders about opportunities and requirements for capturing newsworthy imagery Why join the Army Reserve? Location You will train for 3 weeks in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Following your training, you will be posted to an Army unit close to where you live.
For this role, you must:
Be at least 17 years of age when you enter the ADF Have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics Be an Australian citizen. If you are not an Australian Citizen you may still be eligible to join the ADF if you meet certain criteria, please visit the ADF Careers Eligibility Page for more details Be reasonably fit and healthy.Keeping fit is a big part of joining the ADF. You'll need to pass a physical fitness test before you join, but don't worry, we'll give you tips to help you prepare Be able to successfully obtain a security clearance Have a Certificate IV in photography, equivalent or higher qualifications or relevant industry experience.
