Position summary
Join a dynamic project management team as a Materials Manager and Supply Officer, where your expertise in mining and construction will be pivotal to the success of a vibrant project. This 12‑to‑18‑month contract offers a unique opportunity to advance your career within a multi‑disciplined business. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, ensuring the accuracy and quality of inbound goods, and maintaining inventory integrity through SAP ERP. Your role will also involve preparing documentation for contractor collections, safeguarding materials, and participating in safety audits to enhance continuous safety improvements. Ideal candidates will bring at least 5 years of industry experience, hold relevant licences and tickets, and possess strong communication and analytical skills. About the company
Neuplan is a high‑performing project management consultancy, with 40+ consultants advising our established client base throughout their mining and construction projects.
We mostly work with juniors and small to mid‑cap producers, tier 1 contractors, and engineering companies, on their diverse WA‑based, national and international projects across:
* Mining and resources (including gold, lithium, rare earths and iron ore)
* Process and non‑process infrastructure
* Large‑scale industrial infrastructure
* Public transport infrastructure
About the role
* Coordinate the loading and unloading of all deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
* Ensure accurate quantity and quality of inbound goods through the completion of the goods receipting process.
* Maintain inventory through correct labeling, storage, and issuing of materials to ensure stock integrity.
* Prepare documentation for the contractor's collection of goods, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete.
* Execute all goods movements in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to reflect the quantity, location and availability of items.
* Ensure the facility is secure and goods are safeguarded against damage or theft.
* Conduct regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock integrity.
* Participate in pre‑starts, toolbox discussions and safety audits within the construction team to contribute to continuous safety improvements.
About the candidate
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the mining or construction industry.
* Current and valid HR license, IT tickets and Telehandler tickets.
* Proficiency in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for executing goods movements.
* Strong skills in coordinating the loading and unloading of deliveries.
* Experience in goods receipting and documentation preparation.
* Expertise in inventory management and maintaining stock integrity.
* Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with a client‑facing focus.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
* Strong analytical skills to contribute to continuous safety improvements.
* Must currently reside in and be eligible to work in Australia.
