About The Opportunity
At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) our strategic vision is Trusted Care. Better health for everyone. A key priority in achieving this vision is the Working to Advance Vaccine Equity (WAVE) program, a new CCLHD initiative designed to improve vaccination coverage rates for adults and adolescents across the Central Coast. We are seeking a skilled Program Administration Officer to support this meaningful public health work.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be
* Provide day to day administrative and clerical support
* Deliver professional first-point-of-contact customer service
* Coordinate office systems and procedures
* Assist with data collection and report preparation
* Build productive relationships across teams
* Help keep operations running smoothly with initiative and sound judgement

About You
* Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to coordinate systems, manage workflows and maintain office efficiency within a dynamic public health environment.
* Strong communication and customer service abilities, providing a warm, professional and confidential first point of contact for patients, families, staff and external stakeholders.
* Proven capacity to balance competing priorities, stay calm under pressure, and adapt confidently within a fast-moving environment of continuous change.
* Experience managing sensitive or emotional enquiries with empathy, discretion and a patient-centred approach.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple teams, departments and partner organisations to help achieve program outcomes.
