Position Profile: The Senior Policy Officer leads key deliverables of the Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund. The FHRI Fund provides a secure funding stream to support Western Australian health and medical research, innovation and commercialisation activities and through these activities, improve the health and prosperity of all Western Australians. It provides an opportunity to diversify the economy, create jobs, improve the sustainability of the health system and position WA as a leader in research and innovation. The Senior Policy Officer's key responsibilities will include the design, development and administration of research funding programs, implementing strategies and tools to manage risks, issues and benefits, managing stakeholder relationships and providing recommendations to support decision‐making and planning.
