Overview
Seeding / Tractor Operator WA Central Wheatbelt – Broadacre Cropping Enterprise. Join a large-scale Western Australian cropping enterprise operating modern New Holland articulated tractors, 40–70ft seeding bars and GPS precision farming technology across a large scale cropping program in the Central Wheatbelt, approximately three hours north-east of Perth. Staff 360 are seeking an experienced Seeding / Tractor Operators to join this progressive farming business for the current seeding program. The farm utilises modern machinery and technology-driven farming systems, along with a large sheep enterprise running alongside the cropping program. This role will suit an experienced machinery operator who enjoys working with large modern equipment, technology and broadacre cropping systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating modern articulated tractors with seeding bars and large air seeder systems
* Assisting with broadacre seeding operations across a large-scale cropping program
* Operating farm trucks and assisting with logistics during seeding
* Preparing and maintaining seeding equipment before and during the season
* Conducting daily machinery checks and assisting with servicing
* Working with GPS guidance and precision farming technology
* Supporting general farm operations when required
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience operating broadacre seeding equipment
* Experience operating large articulated tractors and air seeders
* Familiarity with GPS-guided machinery and modern farm technology
* HC licence highly regarded
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with machinery servicing
* Ability to work long hours during peak farming periods
* Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment
