Sous Chef Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to play a key role in building and leading a talented kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for shaping our culinary identity and setting new standards in guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Kitchen Leadership: Support the Executive Chef in setting up the department and developing a high-performing kitchen team.
* Culinary Excellence: Create menus that showcase locally sourced produce and deliver memorable culinary experiences.
* Staff Management: Manage and train staff, assess performance, and support professional development programs.
* Logistics: Order supplies, exercise stock control, and manage inventory effectively.
* Broad Operations: Support food & beverage operations, including room service, conferencing, and events.
Requirements:
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role in a busy restaurant or hotel.
* Leadership: Ability to build and lead an enthusiastic and collaborative team.
