About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of store visual merchandising standards.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working in retail, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
* Sell products by utilizing knowledge of product features, benefits, and applications, and making recommendations based on customer needs.
* Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including merchandise displays, fixtures, and equipment.
* Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
* Participate in visual merchandising activities, such as setting up displays and arranging merchandise.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
* 1-2 years of retail experience preferred, with a focus on sales and customer service.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
