Description As the Asset Management Officer, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring compliance with data standards, and providing insights that drive performance across our contracts. You’ll source, validate, and analyse asset information, support ISO 55001-aligned practices, and help the team make informed decisions that improve outcomes for road users and the community. Key responsibilities Review and maintain asset data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support service delivery excellence. Maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making. Support compliance with ISO 55000 principles and other relevant asset management standards. What you’ll bring Experience maintaining and updating databases, using asset management and GIS tools such as Power BI, SQL, and QGIS. Strong analytical and data-mining skills to interpret asset condition data, extract insights, and identify opportunities for improvement. Proven ability to ensure asset data records comply with required data standards, contractual KPIs, and governance requirements. Ability to source, validate, and organise asset data from multiple stakeholders, including coordinating field verification when required. An innovative and solutions-focused mindset, with a drive to improve how systems, data, and technology are used to support operational outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling the preparation of clear reports, dashboards, and responses to enquiries.
