Job Description
* Build and maintain strong, proactive relationships with customers, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring consistent follow‐up and engagement
* Support MD, while taking ownership of smaller accounts and new business opportunities
* Identify, develop, and convert new leads and opportunities, increasing revenue
* Follow up and manage opportunities through Salesforce, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking and timely progression of deals
* Support and execute marketing campaigns
* Support customers, working closely with internal teams where required
* Prepare for customer meetings, visits, and trade shows, representing the business professionally
* Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, purchasing, and customer service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
* Manage account forecasts and performance, responding to market trends and opportunities to drive growth
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Account Manager will have:
* A genuine interest in sales and building long‐term client relationships within a B2B environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging manufacturers, retailers, and partners
* A proactive, self‐starter mindset with the drive to identify opportunities and follow them through
* A natural customer focus, with the ability to understand needs and deliver tailored, solution‐based outcomes
* The ability to balance account management and new business development in a structured way
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities, stakeholders, and priorities
* Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline and activity
* An interest in technical or smart home products, with the ability to learn and communicate product details effectively
* A results‐driven attitude, motivated by growing revenue, winning new business, and developing accounts
