About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dogman to join our team at Bryant Building Contractors Pty Ltd. As a Dogman, you will play a vital role in our construction operations. You will work closely with our tower crane operators to ensure safe lifting practices, directing the movement of heavy loads, and maintaining a high standard of safety on site.
What you'll be doing
* Ensure the safe and efficient movement of loads and equipment on our construction sites, including the operation and coordination of tower cranes.
* Inspect, prepare and attach loads to cranes and other lifting equipment
* Communicate effectively with crane operators and other site personnel to coordinate lifting operations
* Maintain detailed records of all lifting activities
* Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
* Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of rigging equipment
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Dogman or similar role in the construction industry
* Thorough knowledge of rigging techniques, load handling and lifting equipment ideally with tower cranes
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with crane operators and other site personnel
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Relevant industry certifications, such as a Dogman High Risk Work Licence, would be highly regarded
