Job Description
The Brand Manager is responsible for end-to-end product and brand management across a portfolio of premium appliance and tech brands. This position is accountable for the management and performance of portfolio brands through collaboration, planning, and engagement with internal and external partners.
This role requires a highly analytical and commercially astute individual who can see the forest through the trees and drive results. You will be passionate about consumer electronics and lifestyle appliances, keeping up to date with trending topics and products.
You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in brand or product management roles, preferably in consumer electronics or small domestic appliances. SAP experience in material management, purchasing & MRP is highly regarded. Experience working in wholesale distribution, and or branded direct-to-market organizations is also highly regarded.
Responsibilities
* End-to-end product lifecycle management, including go-to-market strategy development and implementation.
* Supplier relationship and commercial management.
* Leadership and professional development of your team.
* Management of product and brand-related data/setup in SAP ERP.
* Identifying channel opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.
* Developing and implementing the promotional plan as part of a cross-functional team.
* Partnering with brands and external vendors to implement best-in-class point of sale and merchandising solutions.
* Product compliance and regulatory approval (for imported goods).
* Commercial performance of your brands (buying margin, inventory cover, category growth, etc.).
* Purchasing, product availability, and stock cover.
* Delivering brand growth, margin, and sales as part of a cross-functional team.
* Channel and out-of-channel marketing planning and execution.
* Deep understanding and knowledge of the market and competitive landscape.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years experience working in brand or product management roles, preferably in consumer electronics or small domestic appliances.
* SAP experience in material management, purchasing & MRP is highly regarded.
* Experience working in wholesale distribution, and or branded direct-to-market organizations is also highly regarded.
* Highly capable in Microsoft 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
* Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, flexible, and challenge yourself.
* Tertiary education in Business or Marketing is highly regarded.
