An exciting Opportunity to join the Hawkesbury District Hospital as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife Educator overseeing our Surgical and Day surgery wards. This position is a Permanent Full Time working Monday- Friday.
The Clinical Nurse/Midwife Educator (CNME) in consultation with the Nursing/Midwifery Unit Managers (NMUMs), is required to identify, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate education and development programs for staff working in the ward/unit/service.

What You Will Bring To The Role
* Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
* Relevant clinical/education post registration qualification or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer
* Recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel
* Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate education.
* Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work in a consultative manner.
* Demonstrated previous experience in clinical teaching, mentoring and preceptorship.
* Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
* Commitment to working with NMUM to establish and maintain a learning environment that values and encourages learning and reflective practice.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
