About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our surgical department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our service.
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient assessments, planning day-to-day activities for patients, and liaising with clinicians and other services as required. You will also be responsible for setting up and assisting with specialist surgical procedures, CT scans, radiography, charting, and other related tasks.
To excel in this role, you will require excellent nursing skills, including intravenous and urinary catheter placement, phlebotomy, internal and external diagnostic testing, high-quality radiographs, anaesthetic monitoring, and intensive care management. Additionally, you will need to provide pre- and post-operative care, keep clients informed, and work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
In return, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and clients.
