About the role
Join a trusted supplier in the automotive refinishing industry as a Trade Sales Representative. Based in Wetherill Park and covering Western Sydney, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of trade customers including panel beaters, paint shops, and repairers. This role blends relationship-building, technical support, and sales—offering you warm leads, a company vehicle, and a strong earning potential of up to $110K OTE.
Duties
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing trade customers, including panel beaters, paint shops, and automotive repair businesses
* Promote and sell the full product range, including paints, consumables, detailing products, and equipment
* Identify new sales opportunities and actively pursue new business within the trade sector
* Provide product advice, technical support, and solutions tailored to each client’s needs
* Conduct regular face-to-face visits to customer sites across your territory
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
* Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and industry developments
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and feedback using internal systems
* Support promotional campaigns and contribute to hitting monthly sales targets
* Based in Wetherill Park, servicing Western Sydney areas including Parramatta, Penrith, and Hawkesbury
* Provide sales support to panel beaters, paint shops, and industrial clients across both light and heavy vehicle sectors
* Focus on building strong customer relationships and driving sales in the panel and paint industry
* Open to candidates with a background in panel and paint, automotive, or broader industrial sales experience
Skills and experience
* Previous experience in trade sales, ideally within the automotive paint, panel, or refinishing industry highly regarded
* Open to candidates with broader automotive or industrial sales backgrounds who can quickly learn the product range
* Strong understanding of the needs of panel beaters, paint shops, and repairers across the light, heavy vehicle, and industrial sectors
* Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with trade customers
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to account management and new business
* Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to customer sites regularly
* Solid organisational skills and ability to manage time and customer follow-ups independently
* Basic computer skills for recording sales activity and using internal systems
