Australia's Leading Home Care Agency – Perth WA. Rate: $40.30 - $43.01 per hour (L3) including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are handled by the Employer). 2 days per week with a 2‑year‑old child.
Schedule
Preferred days: Monday and Tuesday; may consider Thursday or Friday. Occasional Saturday required depending on extra work. Not flexible with times.
Full daytime hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm (occasionally).
Responsibilities
A caring and confident educator to support a 2‑year‑old with complex medical needs and global developmental delay in the family home. The child is non‑verbal, PEG fed, and requires full assistance for positioning and mobility. The role includes lifting, floor‑based play, and providing calm, nurturing one‑on‑one support. The child enjoys baths, walks in the pram, cuddles, playing with toys on the mat or while supported sitting. The educator should be warm, patient, confident and engage with OT and other therapists.
Qualifications
* Cert III, Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care, or a Bachelor teaching degree in Primary Education and registration with the teaching authority board of the relevant state.
* Experienced childcare worker with at least 3 professional references.
* WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid.
* Valid car & driver's licence.
* Willing to commit for at least 12 months.
