Ongoing, full time opportunity based in the South Metropolitan Region Provide strategic advice for the entire region and delivering strategic outcomes Salary range of $142,790 - $191,084 plus superannuation This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a passionate, people leader, driven by results and performance to step into a senior leadership position in the South Metro Region for Community Correctional Services (CCS). About the role As Regional General Manager, Community Correctional Services (South Metro), you will lead and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple Community Correctional Services sites, ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery that supports community safety and reduces reoffending. Working as a member of the region's executive team, you will provide strategic leadership across court, parole, post-sentence and community work streams, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and foster a culture of integrity, inclusion and high performance. Key responsibilities include: Lead and manage operations across CCS locations in the region, including service delivery to regional courts and prisons. Provide strategic direction and visible leadership to embed best-practice offender management and case management quality. Develop and implement regional plans aligned to business priorities, service delivery outcomes and operational performance indicators. Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to meet service requirements and support collaborative outcomes. Manage budgets, resources and workforce planning, including monitoring financial impacts and staffing requirements. Prepare high-level reports and provide advice to senior leaders on complex and sensitive operational matters. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Justice service instructions, governance requirements, and safety obligations. About you You're an accomplished, values-led people leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and is motivated by improving performance and service outcomes. You're confident leading frontline teams through change, uplifting capability, and creating a culture where people feel supported, accountable and proud of the work they do. You will bring: Proven experience leading frontline teams in an operational service delivery environment (ideally across multiple sites). A strong track record of driving performance—setting clear expectations, using data/insights, and addressing issues early and constructively. Demonstrated experience in capability uplift (coaching, talent development, workforce planning, and building leadership capability). Confidence leading through change and continuous improvement while maintaining day-to-day operational stability. Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and build trust across diverse stakeholders.
