The Opportunity
This is a career-defining role for an engineer who wants to solve the hard problems that come with exponential growth.
As a Founding Engineer, you will have massive ownership and a direct impact on technical vision and product trajectory.
You won't just be using off-the-shelf tech; you'll be working on unique challenges that few companies in Australia can offer, including building and productionising in-house generative models.
What You'll Be Doing
* Scaling systems to handle 100M+ users.
* Productionising in-house generative AI models, running on their own custom compute systems.
* Building and shipping new, real-time features from scratch, such as interactive video calls with <200ms latency.
* Orchestrating hundreds of GPUs to serve millions of daily users efficiently and reliably.
* Working across our modern stack: TypeScript,, React, Postgres, and Temporal.

* You are a proven builder who takes ideas from concept through to production. You have a strong sense of ownership and a drive to execute.
* You are a natural self-starter. You thrive on autonomy, are comfortable with ambiguity, and have a knack for figuring things out independently.
