About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient upkeep of a fleet of mining equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and performance.
Key duties include:
* Carrying out maintenance and repairs on mining equipment, including component change-outs, overhauls, inspections, fault diagnostics, PM servicing, and daily refuelling
* Completing planned maintenance tasks safely, on time, and within budget
* Working autonomously while following site procedures and direction
* Performing procedure-based preventative maintenance
* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing to team-led initiatives
* Ensuring all maintenance activities meet safety, quality, and compliance standards
What You'll Need
* Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
* Experience working with heavy mining equipment.
* Proven success in a similar role is advantageous.
* Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Queensland driver licence.
