First Aid Manager Role
The successful candidate will oversee the First Aid treatment room and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. They will guarantee accurate documentation and report directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities include induction and training of incoming First Aid Officers, upholding Raging Waters Policies and Procedures at all times, rostering of First Aid Officers, maintenance, stock control and replenishment of first aid supplies.
Collaborating with relevant staff to deliver efficient and effective administration and delivery of First Aid services within the facility.
1. Leadership:
* Act as an ambassador for the organization and enforce all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Monitor and motivate team members to achieve a high standard of guest service within the First Aid Department.
* Conduct training and assess competency of Team Members to assist in team development and training.
2. First Aid:
* Provide care to ill or injured team members, contractors, and guests.
* Remain calm during emergency situations and provide efficient care.
* Assess medical conditions and determine an appropriate course of treatment quickly and accurately.
3. Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):
* Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Correctly use safety and personal protective equipment.
* Demonstrate safe work behaviors as a role model.
4. Essential Qualifications:
* Current First Aid Certification – HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
* Current Advanced Resuscitation Certificate – HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation.
* Current Working with Children Check.
5. Desirable Qualifications:
* HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid Certification.
* HLTAID016 Manage First Aid Services and Resources.
* HLTSS0068 Occupational First Aid Skill Set.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Experience in managing and/or contributing to First Aid responses is also desirable.
