**About the role**

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members' world better. As a Procurement Manager, you will enable the delivery of great business outcomes - improved value, innovation, and enabling a more efficient and sustainable supply chain.

This role is responsible for leading the Procurement team, supporting the end-to-end Procurement function. This role works closely with managers and senior leadership to support the delivery of Australian Retirement Trust's (ART) procurement services.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Lead a small team, develop work plans and contribute to achieving team goals.
- Accurately report, interpret and analyse expenditure data and identify opportunities for improvement with a broader marketplace focus.
- Proactively contribute to the development, execution and improvement of procurement strategies across all purchasing channels and making recommendations where required.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on a broad range of issues, including but not limited to contract negotiations, supplier preferences, service level agreements and education on procurement processes.
- Contribute to the Finance team's business plans, and quality assurance processes.
- Undertake research and analysis into market and industry conditions, procurement issues and best practice as well as organisational and procurement policies and practices.
- Achieve best practice through the continuous evaluation and improvement of the end-to-end source to pay processes.

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:

- Tertiary qualified in a business-related discipline and/or Level 4 accreditation with CIPSA.
- Experience in leading a high performing team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, category and/or vendor management,
- Experience in use of source to pay systems with knowledge on the processes that support the systems.
- Experience in supplier relationship management and improving supplier diversity.
- Experience in negotiating high value and high risk supplier contracts.
- Understanding of how to identify, assess and escalate risks according to the Risk Management framework.
- Knowledge of, and experience in, procuring indirect spend, ideally in the financial services industry.
- Ability to anticipate future and current needs of the business, and able to respond to changing business and environmental conditions.
- Ability to identify opportunities for scalability reducing administration overheads.
