We are currently looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a key client engagement based in Geelong, Victoria.
This is a 6–12 month fixed-term opportunity with potential for extension, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite.
About the Role This is a high-impact role focused on a data transformation initiative, specifically aimed at eliminating duplicate and redundant data across enterprise systems.
You will play a critical role in designing scalable data architecture, improving data quality, and driving governance across a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement enterprise data architecture strategy
Design solutions to identify, manage, and eliminate duplicate data
Establish data governance, data quality, and master data management frameworks
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to align data models
Drive data standardization and optimization across systems
Support data migration, cleansing, and integration initiatives
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Data Architect in large-scale environments
Strong experience in data modelling, data governance, and data quality frameworks
Experience in data deduplication / master data management initiatives
Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
