**About the role**:
Our client, a not for profit health entity, requires a Digital Communications Officer for a part-time, 3-month contract with an immediate start. Working alongside the Communications Lead, you will support, publish and maintain content on the organisation's e-newsletter and social media channels.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Supporting relevant SMEs across the organisation to publish regular, relevant and resonant communications / resources to grow its audiences.
- Developing and publishing approved content for social media channels - Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, using scheduling tool (Buffer).
- Drafting, designing and publishing fortnightly e-Newsletter, using MailChimp.
- Recording, editing and publishing fortnightly CEO Update video on YouTube.
- Designing branded digital communications products (social tiles, etc.) using Canva.
- Support development of resources (brochures/flyers) for consumers.
**Experience and Skills**:
The experience and skills you will need to demonstrate include:
- Demonstrated experience managing content for social media channels as well as experience working with the Adobe Creative suite is highly regarded.
- Strong content writing and editing skills.
- Experience in responding to media enquiries is highly regarded.
- Strong time management, organisational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated team player with a can-do, proactive attitude.
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Digital Communications, Digital Media or a related field is highly desirable.
- Previous experience within the not for profit and/or health sector is highly desirable.
