In the role of an Agribusiness Manager 1, you will join the Regional & Agribusiness Team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
NAB Agribusiness is leading the way by partnering with at least 1 in 3 farmers throughout Australia to build a better future. Established in 2000, we are passionate about providing flexible, tailored financial solutions to primary and post-farmgate producers and suppliers, ranging from small family farming enterprises to large multinational operations.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
o Develop and manage a portfolio of agribusiness customers
o Assess economic value and risk potential of new business
o Educate customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
o Proactively call on networks of contacts to help identify new business and referral opportunities
o Implement initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market
o Utilise your networks within pre-farmgate and post-farmgate local markets
o Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
o Coach and support the team to ensure efficient high quality customer service

o A passion for relationship management and delivering exceptional customer service
o A background in banking, finance, or agribusiness, with a strong understanding of agricultural sector
o Growth mindset and enthusiasm to learn, develop and succeed in business development-focused environment
o Proven experience in financial analysis, with a keen eye for detail
o Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities
o Proactive problem solver who makes decisions and thrives in a dynamic environment
