As an Administrative Assistant within Pathways and Academic Learning (PALS), you will deliver high-quality, student-focused service and provide essential administrative support to both students and staff.

In this role you will:

* Be the first point of contact for the PALS Centre, responding to enquiries from current and prospective students, in person, over the phone, and in writing.
* Assist students with processes such as adverse circumstances, course enrolment, and navigating University systems.
* Support academic staff with administration, assessments, and graduations throughout the student lifecycle
* Complete student admissions, enrolments and other administration tasks as directed.
* Represent the Centre at events including Open Days, Careers Markets, and Information Sessions as needed.

This fixed term full time position is until the end of 2025, and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

* The ability to be a strong team member that operates efficiently and effectively across the broader teams.


What we offer

The remuneration for this position isfrom$74,491 to $80,972 + 17%superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

3. Demonstrated high level of customer service and administrative skills including the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
4. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with staff and students from diverse backgrounds.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
6. Knowledge of, and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety, equity, diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
