The Bowral Doctor is looking for a general practice nurse to join our team. We are a small, but growing, family oriented general practice with a focus on compassionate and comprehensive care, helping our patients at all stages of life.
About the role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse for 3 days a week. You would work collaboratively to support our GP's in delivering excellent care. We are looking for someone who is happy to drive projects and initiatives focussed on improving patient wellbeing.
About you
You have current AHPRA registration. You are organised, methodical and responsible. Cheerful, kind and compassionate. Punctual, dependable and reliable. You are invested in delivering exceptional service and patient care that aligns with our culture and values. You are confident and competent with computers and technology. You have a "Can-do" attitude with a smile.
Experience in general practice nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
* Planning and assisting health assessments including chronic condition care plans, annual health assessments and Coordinated Veterans' Care plans.
* Assisting with baby checks and vaccinations.
* Assisting with set up for minor procedures including infusions, skin excisions, IUD insertions, etc.
* Perform ECG and spirometry.
* Manage practice recalls and reminders, including care plan reviews and vaccine eligibility.
* Vaccinations (including stock take and ordering).
* Coordinating annual flu clinics.
* Stock control and management.
* Assist with general practice accreditation.
